Get featured on SmashingStereotypes

What does #SmashingStereotypes mean? It means no more telling you what you can or can’t do just because you look or speak or do things a certain way - a stereotype!

It means no more barriers stopping you from doing what you want or being who or what you want.

#SmashingStereotypes is a site for you - we want it to be entirely by young people for young people. You are the future - and we think that the future starts right now.

We want YOU to tell us how we should be #SmashingStereotypes by showing us: Who is SmashingStereotypes that you like? How are you SmashingStereotypes? Why should everyone get SmashingStereotypes?

Then we will tell the old people.

Nic, Founder of the GEC

How are you SmashingStereotypes?

It could be in your educational setting or at home, your hobbies or your likes and dislikes. Maybe you are #smashingstereotypes with your appearance - or the way you choose to look or speak out. We are looking for everyone who is Smashing Stereotypes.

Teachers and educators can also submit entries on behalf of students - or their setting.
